A lovely and successful weekend at Dorset County Show to end the show season, with the heat, no rain, therefore no grass, expensive hard to get hold of hay causing even more havoc with the fleeces it took a lot of determination to turn these lambs around… it paid off!
Winning:
🥇Ram lamb Forest Edge Monster Munch 🥇Ewe lamb Forest Edge Miffy

Monster Munch also placed 4th in a strong long wool class with the judge coming back to say his fleece was lovely, silky, soft and even and he was only in this position due to slight discolouration … I will take that!

Thank you Julian Walters for stepping in to judge at the last minute and to the South West club members for making it a fun weekend.
Sheep are now sheared and the rams will go in tomorrow.

We only took Forest Edge Monster Munch to the lovely Elingham show. He did us proud, 1st in ram lamb class and 3rd in championship. He also helped me get a 2nd in the ‘Showmanship class’ ( otherwise known as the OAP handlers class I think!🫣) Thank you Phil Garrod for travelling to judge for us again this year , always appreciated by all breeders.
