Breaks my heart gonna be so many businesses holding on by the skin of there teeth 💔💔💔

❌ Thanks to government wage and NI increases which are funded by.... small business, this amount has gone up from the usual £500ish to £971.36 for April. That's a HUGE increase.

Yes our sales have been much better the last week but it feels like no matter what we do and no matter how much our customers support us, it's a losing battle.

Just when you take one step forward, HMRC kick you two steps back!

However I am ever an optimist and we WILL get through this - along with you - just need to get even more clever and fight even harder 💪

After a lot of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the café doors. ❤️
We just want to say a huge thank you to every single person who supported us along the way — whether you popped in for a coffee, shared our posts, booked us for events, or simply cheered us on. Your support has meant more than you know.
Like many small businesses right now, times have become incredibly tough, and this wasn’t an easy decision to make. We’re proud of everything we built and all the memories made in the café.
This isn’t goodbye though — we’ll be going back to our roots and focusing on markets and buffets, which is where our journey first began. So you’ll still be seeing us around, just in a different way. 😊
Thank you again for being part of our story and supporting our small business through it all. We truly appreciate every single one of you.
