Serving 6 real ales including 3 from our own brewery, The Funfair Brewing Company Ltd which will be relocating to Elston soon. Friday night is homemade pizza night from 6pm, Saturdays from 2pm hot pork & stuffing cobs, Roast Beef Sunday Lunch from 12pm, Curry night every second Saturday of the Month. Quiz night last Saturday of Every month from 7pm . Dogs & well behaved children welcome until 9pm.

The Heart of Elston's community the Chequers Inn was re opened in 2011 by Abigail Cutts & David Tizard who purchased the Freehold from Punch Taverns. Now a True Free House The Chequers Inn aims to create a homely welcoming feel with regular parties and events for all to enjoy.
