What a weekend!

Hundreds of conversations, countless tasters poured and, best of all, a huge number of people trying mead for the very first time.

one of our favourite parts of doing these shows is watching someone approach the stand not really knowing what mead is, giving it a try and seeing their reaction when it’s nothing like they expected.

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped, chatted, tasted, bought a bottle or came back to see us again. We genuinely appreciate every one of you.

And thank you to Newbury Show It was great to have Woden Mead in amongst so many top tier food and drink producers.

We’re set up, bottles lined up and the tasters are primed and ready to go.

And what a show this is.

We’re in the Food Hall, surrounded by what can only be described as a frankly dangerous amount of good food and drink. Pies, cheeses, cakes, pasties, meats, spirits, treats and just about everything else you shouldn’t walk past on an empty stomach.

Newbury Show is one of the big ones, and we’re very pleased to have Woden Mead amongst such a cracking selection of British producers.

If you’re local, do yourself a favour — get down here.

Come and find us in the Food Hall, try some mead, have a chat and see what all the fuss is about.
