Now the dust has settled after Picklefest 2026…
What. A. Day. 💚🥒

A huge thank you to everyone who came along. Whether you entered a competition, sampled your way around the stalls, enjoyed the live music, grabbed some incredible food, got a new t-shirt or simply came to soak up the atmosphere, you made this year’s event something really special.

Picklefest 26 is fast approaching and we are looking for two things.
Although we have entries in all categories there is still time for you to enter your creations.
Pop onto Delphic Brewing Co. website and sign up today. Don’t delay to be part of a fantastic event.
We are also looking for volunteers to be in charge of the pickle stand for an hour. Drop me a message if you would like to help out.

Not long to go now until this year’s PICKLEFEST! 🥒

Picklefest is back on 11th July 2026! A collaboration between Delphic Brewing Co, Green Shed C***r & Fermented Reality.

We are inviting the people of Newbury to unleash their creativity and enter delicious homemade treats into a competition to crown the ultimate champion, in a number of different categories, including pickles, chutneys, preserves, hot sauce, jam, kimchi, drinks and many more!

The event is free to attend.

Entries are £5 per item entered, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Bring entries down to the brewery from 11am-2pm on 11th July.

Tasting and judging by the general public from 1pm-6:30pm with an app to vote for the best in each category.

Categories:
Pickles (Pickles, Piccalilli, Chutney, etc.), Hot Sauces, Drinks (Kombucha, Kvass, Fire C***r, Ginger B**r) (No / very low Alcohol), Ferments (Krauts, Kimchi, etc.), Jams, Honey

On the day there will be plenty of local B**r, C***r and Kombucha to drink, live music, delicious street food to enjoy, and a friendly community feel. Whether you’re aiming to take home the top prize or just want to soak up the atmosphere with some chips and dips, there will be plenty of fun and foodie treats to enjoy.

We have a big announcement coming in the next couple weeks about how this year’s Picklefest is going to be much bigger and better than last year! Keep your eyes peeled! 👀
