Welcome to the wild flower meadow 🌻🌸 a sanctuary for bees, beetles, butterfly’s and many other insects 🫶🏼🐝
There is such sheer variety of the in the of the natural tapestry of the summertime☀️and its earth - each mosaic part is so unique so complex that it often seems a physical evidence of God. 💚These wildflowers and meadows provide bees, butterflies 🦋and other pollinators with food throughout the year.
On a single day in summer, one acre of wildflower meadow can contain thee million flowers which will producing 1 kg of nectar sugar.🍯
I do know the names of some of the wild flowers - from Devil's-bit Scabious, Harebell, Greater Knapweed, Lesser Knapweed, Viper's Bugloss, Bird's-foot Trefoil, Quinancywort, Gromwell, Lady's Bedstraw, Yellow Rattle, Salad Burnet, Dropwort, Wild Carrot, Yarrow, Oxeye Daisy, Kidney Vetch, Common Milkwort, Fairy Flax, Rockrose. Many of these plants, loving the thin chalky hillside, are to the left and right of my perambulations.
They grow in such poor conditions, marking the season and asking for nothing other than the chance to grow.🫶🏼
