Cromwell Crops Cromwell Crops is Lisa and Guy's home-grown and culinary and general garden adventures.

We share a passion for being in the garden, for growing all sorts of fruit and veg (with varying degrees of success!) and most certainly enjoy cooking what we grow!

In 2015 we made elderberry liquor, this year we thought we would try something a little different and use the flowers. The resulting cordial and 'sparkling wine' are both delicious!!! :D

Meet Hilda and Horace, they are rescue hedgehogs who were orphaned at birth and cared for by Hedgehog Bottom, Thatcham and when old and strong enough were dropped off at our garden just a few weeks ago!
We are looking after them with mealworms and cat biscuits, they appear to much prefer the cat biscuits, hungry little things! Thank goodness we buy in bulk!
We have also provided a little hibernacula and a cat proof hut for feeding them, which has been equipped with an IR camera so we can sit inside and watch and listen to them munch away :)
