One thing that's come up time and time again in the comments is bringing back beers from the local brewery... and we're delighted to say they're back! 🙌

We're now proudly pouring Frisky Mare from Indigenous Brewery, brewed just down the road here in Chaddleworth - it doesn't get much more local than this! 🍻

Mark has worked tirelessly to provide a wonderful pub that ticks so many boxes in terms of ambience, decor, staff and of course drinks!! It really is worth a visit and has become a firm favourite of ours in Newbury . Well done to Mark and your staff - you absolutely deserve this

Congratulations to Mark and all at The Weirside, Newbury - awarded West Berkshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2026 after opening in May 2025. The award was presented on Monday 8 June

Chadfest 2026 is just around the corner and we couldn’t be anymore excited!! A whole weekend of events for the whole village to enjoy 🎪

Bands, singers, musicians and performers of all kinds are invited to come along and get involved.
