Today was the day, lambs were delivered a short journey to Tregaron a small local abbatoir. Loaded at 0530, on the road 0600, arrived at 0700 and all done and back on the road with the skins by 0730.
For anyone that eats meat this is about as good as it gets, minimal journey and no hanging around stressed.
Skins now in the poly tunnel ready to be salted and eventually tanned
**I'll be collecting butchered/vac packed meat on Friday and home ready for collection from around 3pm**
