Take a look at this beautiful Belted Galloway beef from Hedgeley Farms here in Northumberland, being prepared by our butchery team.

Matured for up to 28 days, with a lovely natural covering of fat and plenty of marbling, these steaks are full of rich, beefy flavour and ready for a seriously good weekend supper.

BANK HOLIDAY SIZZLE! 🌭🍔

Our butchery team have been busy creating something rather tasty for the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend...

4 brand new burgers + 6 brand new sausages = a 10/10 Bank Holiday line-up!

Handmade here in our butchery, there are some cracking new flavours to discover, from Shawarma Lamb Burgers to Spicy Chorizo Style Sausages, and plenty more in between.

Fresh from our farm 🌱
Our naturally grown veg is really coming into its own now, with a lovely colourful and tasty range including Purple and Romanesco Cauliflower, Savoy Cabbage, Tenderstem and Purple Sprouting Broccoli.

Freshly picked, full of flavour and packed with vitamins, fibre and all the good stuff. Come and see what is fresh from the farm this weekend. There is plenty to tempt your tastebuds!

Savoy cabbage packed with nutrients, purple sprouting broccoli growing quicker than the weeds, and beautiful earthy beetroot. And field fairies dancing in the breeze!

All freshly picked and available now in the farm shop.

Something Special for the Weekend!🥩

We have some wonderful Beltie X Angus beef from Hedgeley Farms, carefully matured here at Blagdon for at least 21 days to develop tenderness and a deep, rich flavour.

Look out for beautifully marbled sirloin, rib eye, rump and fillet steaks, alongside succulent roasting joints and plenty of slower-cooking cuts for casseroles, pies and comforting weekend meals.

Grass fed, slowly reared and prepared with care by Nicky and the team. This is local Northumberland beef at its best, full of flavour and well worth making a trip for.

Down in the Vegetable field🌱

The weeds nearly won this week! After Saturday’s heavy rain, we have spent three mornings reclaiming the vegetable field.

Happily, beneath them we found some lovely vegetables growing ahead of schedule.

This weekend, look out for Boro Red and Italian Ringed Beetroot, Dinosaur Kale, Curly Kale and beautiful Rainbow Chard in the shop, all naturally grown.

Fresh, colourful and full of flavour. Blagdon vegetable season is well and truly under way.

Fresh from the field and full of seasonal flavour 🌿

Our first Blagdon vegetables are now in the shop, including beetroot, Cavolo Nero, curly kale and colourful rainbow chard, freshly harvested from our own field.

Meanwhile, English rhubarb is taking centre stage in the Bakehouse, appearing in our new rhubarb and custard roulade, crumble, homemade pie and creamy cheesecake on a ginger base.

Fresh, seasonal and full of flavour. Summer eating has certainly arrived at Blagdon!
