If you are aged 16-30 you can be part of the Young Traders Market Programme. Markets for young traders are being held all over the country, there’s an opportunity near you to test out your business idea.

Dear Quayside market visitors and customers,

The Blaydon Races starts from Newcastle’s iconic Quayside and this year it falls on Sunday 9 June. There will be nearly 5,000 affiliated and unaffiliated runners taking part in the race.

The Quayside Market will therefore close at 3 pm on Sunday 9 June (1 hour earlier) to allow organisers of the Blaydon Races to facilitate the safe running of the event, so make plans to pop down a little earlier this Sunday.

The market will be back open the full hours of 9am to 4pm from Sunday 16 June 2024.
