It has been absolutely non-stop around here! 😅 We’ve been so busy that we completely forgot to share some exciting news—the alpacas have officially been shorn!

Incredibly impressed with the service we received from Sheer Bliss. The team took such amazing care of the alpacas, getting everything checked off the list:

Full Spa Treatment: Teeth, nails, and feet trimmed to perfection.
Health Checks: All our fuzzy friends are happy and healthy.
Haircuts: Looking sharp and ready for the season!
Microchips: All updated and documented.

To make the day even more special, the fabulous De Silva came out to capture all the action with her camera. The photos are stunning! 📸✨ We highly recommend her, should you need a photographer.

We are opening our gates at Sweet Home Alpaca for a day filled with fluffy faces, local treats, and plenty of "paca-fun" to celebrate the end of all Bird Flu restrictions!

Whether you're an alpaca superfan or just looking for a gorgeous family day out in the Welsh countryside, our spring event is the place to be.

• Craft Stations & Games: Plenty of family fun for the kids, including our popular Lucky Dip and a range of games.

• Food Stalls: Don’t worry about packing a lunch—delicious local food and treats will be available all day to fuel your day out. However, feel free to bring a picnic.

Helpful Tips for Your Visit:
• Footwear: We are a working farm! Please wear sensible shoes, especially if you're joining a walk.
• Biosecurity: To keep our animals safe, we’ll ask you to use our foot-dipping stations upon arrival.
• We have a strict no-dog policy on the farm.

I can’t believe it’s almost been a full year since the bird flu saga started—that whole saga feels like a lifetime ago, but I am so relieved it is finally over! To celebrate, we are hosting a special event on June 20th and we want you to come and support us!

​We are looking for a few talented people to join us and make the day extra special:

​Spinning Expert: Are you a whiz with a spinning wheel? We’re looking for someone to demonstrate yarn spinning for our visitors. It’s a great chance to show people the craft and share your passion.

​Tarot Reader: We’d love to have someone join us to offer tarot card readings for our guests throughout the event.
