🔴⚪️⚫️ SUPPORT NEEDED 🔴⚪️⚫️

Dallies Community Larder is facing unprecedented demand right now and we need your help to keep the shelves stocked.

Run by Newmains United Community Football Club, the larder has been a lifeline for families across Newmains and surrounding areas since 2022. Every Thursday from 6–7pm, we open our doors to anyone who needs support. No referrals. No forms. Just community helping community.

In recent weeks, demand has surged significantly, with more individuals and families than ever relying on the larder each week. Simply put, supplies are running low and we cannot meet this level of need without support.

We are urgently appealing to local businesses, organisations, and the wider community to get behind us.

We are looking for donations of:
🥫 Non-perishable food
🧼 Toiletries
🧻 Household essentials

Every single item goes directly to families who need it most.

If you can help in any way, please get in touch via our page or email [email protected]

This is where the Dallies family steps up. Strong communities don’t wait, they act ❤️🖤🤍

🔴⚪️⚫️A Message from our Club🔴⚪️⚫️

Progress Across All Teams and Community Programmes

🔴Senior Team
Our Senior Team continues to demonstrate commitment, discipline, and a strong team ethos. Week by week, the players are showing improved cohesion, maturity on the ball, and a growing confidence in their style of play. Their attitude in training, matches and just generally around the club, shows how much work our management team puts in to steer our boys in the right direction. The new year brings new challenges for this team as we aim for promotion, 2026 can't come quick enough for David and his boy's.

⚪️2008s
The 2008 squad has shown excellent development after a small rebuild, both individually and collectively. Their work rate, willingness to learn, and positive approach to challenges have been evident throughout the season, so far. The group continues to build strong foundations as we see ourselves remain unbeaten in our current league campaign. Our 2008's are looking forward to 2026 and can't wait to get back to it.

⚫️2010s
Our 2010 team has made steady progress, displaying great enthusiasm and a real desire to improve. Their teamwork, communication, and understanding of the game are developing well, and the boys know if they go into 2026 with the right mindset set, attitude and determination they'll be up there challenging at the end of the season.

🔴2012s
The 2012s have shown fantastic energy and commitment. Their technical understanding of the game is improving, and their confidence on the pitch continues to grow. The players are embracing new challenges and demonstrating a strong sense of togetherness as a team on the pitch and friends off it. This team also remains unbeaten in their league campaign and have league Cup final to look forward to in 2026.

⚪️Girls Under 14
Our Girls U14 team continues to impress with their determination, resilience, and team spirit. They are developing a strong identity, showing maturity in their play and supporting one another both on and off the pitch. Their progress is a credit to their hard work and dedication and understanding of what Colette, Natalie and Taylor are asking of them, so much so that we seen two girls making their debut with our 2012's team only a couple weeks ago.

⚫️2016s
The 2016 group is thriving, showing great enthusiasm and a love for the game. A change of coaches and moving some boys on have seen massive progress, especially in teamwork, listening skills, and confidence. They bring fantastic energy to every session. This team are looking forward to March and the season ahead.

🔴New Gen Class
Our New Gen programme continues to grow, providing a welcoming and enjoyable introduction to football for our youngest players. The children are developing key skills while building friendships and confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

⚪️ASN Class
The ASN class remains one of the most valued parts of our club. The participants continue to flourish, showing increased confidence, engagement, and joy in every session. Their progress reflects the dedication of our coaches and the inclusive spirit at the heart of our club.

⚫️Community Larder
The Community Larder has been busier than usual this year as we continue to support families and individuals across our area, offering a warm, respectful, and essential service. We are proud to see it being used responsibly and appreciated by so many within our community. Our Larder will in the new year be looking for sponsorship which will help us keep the shelfs full of the essentials for those in need.

🔴Volunteer & Supporter Appreciation
None of this progress would be possible without the commitment of our volunteers, coaches, committee members, parents, and supporters. Your time, energy, and belief in what we are building make a tremendous difference. Whether you help on matchdays, support behind the scenes, or simply encourage our players, your contribution strengthens the entire club.

⚪️Sponsors
Words can't explain how Important these businesses or individuals are to our club and are essential to the goals we aim to achieve as a community.
We appreciate you all for your generosity in helping us move our club and classes forward in such a successful way.

⚫️THANK YOU!!!!!

As we look ahead, we remain committed to providing a positive, inclusive, and ambitious environment for every player and every member of our community. The progress across all teams and programmes is a reflection of shared effort, shared values, and a shared belief in what this club stands for.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication. 👏🏻👏🏻

Newmains United and The Dallies Larder received a touching donation last night from Greig, given in memory of his late mother, Elizabeth Aitken.

This generous gesture will go a long way in helping us support local families who need that little bit of extra help. We’re truly grateful for the kindness shown.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Greig and his family during this difficult time. ❤️
