Today was a bit of a “how did I get here?” moment 😂
I was invited to represent Fruffles and the world of self employment at a careers fair at the IOW College, where once upon a time I attended!

The weird part of today was when I looked up I was directly opposite the stall of the university I went on to attend.

So there I was… former college student… former university student… now apparently a “responsible business owner” giving career advice.
Full circle. Slightly surreal. Mildly suspicious. 🤣

At one point I half expected someone to hand me a coursework deadline 😅

Life is strange like that, one minute you’re pulling all nighters to get to meet your deadlines, the next you’re telling students to “network and believe in themselves.”

Grateful for the journey (and very relieved there was no coursework involved this time 🤣)

Well we've had another interesting month!

✨️We have done an awful lot of cleaning and paperwork to receive our 2 5⭐️ ratings!
✨️We have taught a room full of home educated teens about starting a business and the large amount of background work that goes into running a food business!
✨️We've booked in for our events at Havenstreet Railway for the year!
✨️We've made a few large cheesecakes for customers and lots of Free From pots to restock our Freezers!

Looking forward to seeing what March brings 🥰

Because we just love inspections so much (😅) we had our new premises checked today too!! So our wonderful new unit is also 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hello!

We hope you've enjoyed your first few weeks of 2026 😍

This month we have been booked in to do lots of talks, events and weddings! And we are already fully booked for Christmas!

Our bookings for our Talks are-

✨️The Learning Zone- The Cheesecake Bar and How to Start a Business

✨️The Isle of Wight College Careers Fair

✨️The WI for International Woman's Day

✨️Quarr Abbey

We have also had a lot of orders this month for large cheesecakes and our ever popular Free From cheesecakes in various sizes!

We're fully settled in our new premises now and are looking to host an open day very soon for our wonderful regular customers ❤️

7 weeks of working 16 hours a day fulfilling all of your orders and we are finished for the year 🥳

We cant thank you enough for all of your support this year, we are knackered and so incredibly grateful to each and every one of you ❤️

Weve had a blast at Quarr Abbey and the Steam Railway these last few weeks thank you for having us!!!

We are all set up again at Quarr Abbey for this weekends fayre 🌲🎁✨️

Over at Fruffles HQ this week we've been so busy we're not sure what our name is anymore 🤪

Last weekend was so utterly fantastic we had a sell out at both events! Thank you to all of our amazing customers, we really appreciate you and so thrilled you love our products ❤️

So we have hand rolled over 400 chocolate truffles, made over 100 cheesecakes, peppermint creams, coconut ice, coffee creams and marzipan delights since Monday 😅 plus we've had a large cheesecakes order 🎂
To top it off we had an amazing day yesterday at Little Canada serving the staff with the Cheesecake Bar for their christmas party 🥳
