We received a phone call late last night to say that a large number of our cattle were roaming around Brighstone village - namely in the Upper Lane area.

They had unfortunately escaped through a footpath gate at the bottom of the downs which had been left open.
Anyone affected by them are welcome to call Andrew Hodgson on 07850616817 to discuss any issues.

We would sincerely like to thank Kingsley Hollis Paige Richards, Pat Morris, Lucy and Annie for all their help trying to return black cattle to the downs in the dark!

Just another example of the consequences of footpath gates being left open on farmland which is a constant problem.
