π¨ Important post π¨
Unfortunately this will be the last week that we will be running The Village Fish Bar. Due to prior work commitments and rising costs we have had no choice but to step away from running the shop. You may have seen some new faces in the shop over the last few weeks whilst we train up new management, they will be taking over from next week - I will also be handing the Facebook and Instagram pages over to them. We will also be closed today and tomorrow due to staffing issues.
The last 3 years we have been so so grateful for the communities support and kindness, especially during the COVID-19 lockdown. We can honestly say we have the loveliest customers, those who pop in for a chat and those we deliver to; we will really miss you all.
To our staff, current and previous, thank you so much for all of the hard work you have put in, the shop wouldnβt be what it was without you.
On behalf of my dad, Les, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their support. And Iβm sure my mum, Margaret, would want to say thank you to everyone too.
We would love it if you could show support and kindness to the new management team, Iβm sure theyβd really appreciate it. Some of our staff members will be staying on with them too.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to give us a message or pop into the shop.
You may know that myself & Alec have The Glade Cafe in Rogerstone Welfare Grounds so if you fancy seeing a familiar face or just to come down for a chat then please do we would love to see you.
Many thanks,
Sophie, Les, Jack and the rest of the Village Fish Bar team π π
