Hello everyone ,
It’s with great sadness but also proudness that I ccome here to inform you all that this Sunday will be our last Sunday 10-09-2023 at the Royal British Legion Club, Newquay , the First ever community kitchen in Newquay !
I couldn’t be anymore proud of all of you that understood the message and joined us over the last 7 months for a lovely roast ( dare to say the best roast going around in regards of value for money and satisfaction) .
We made memories together that lingers in our palate 😋
A big thanks to you Newquay and I’m sure I’ll be seeing you all at the weekend to say farewell .
What we have achieved is quite incredible in a town where most of the hospitality businesses forget their locals when the season is here … we have proven that great food and atmosphere “does not require a view and expensive prices at all !!
Our humble roast gave them what to talk about and hopefully has taught a lesson to many of them out there:
“DO NOT FORGET THE PEOPLE THAT ONCE LIFTED YOU TO THE TOP”
Not forgetting to thank our suppliers, &sons butchers whose I have been working with for the last 15 years in Newquay …
Also the the British Legion for hosting us and opening the doors of possibility , the Chair man John Goodman whose given his time and dedication to RBL , all the committee members, Nikki Goodman ,Jessica Goodman (my secretary and the behind the curtains planing and organising events for us, Stewart Saunders and Claire Searle Wiltshirethe faces of RBL !
I would love to mention everyone, however there’s a 157 of you loyal people that I would have to😅
You all know who you are ! The little ones too 🥲
All the Vets that supported us every Friday !

It’s not the end , together as we have always run our kitchen, we’ll find a place where we can Once more establish our community kitchen ✅🙏🙌🏽
