Our latest purchase to add to our Argentinian genetics - Reserve Champion Argentinian National Show. 50% share purchased with Juan Portela - thanks to Diego Javier Eder - Cabana La Trinidad for breeding such an amazing ewe and for agreeing to allow us to be a part of her journey.

We are very pleased to have purchased this outstanding ewe lamb born July 2025 who was Reserve Champion Female at Palermo, Buenos Aries in partnership with Juan Portela for our New Hampshire Down Flock in Argentina. We look forward to what she can breed in the future for our new flock.

Maximus is a very correct ram - still good on his legs and feet - he breeds true to breed type with great colour, tight skin and breed character as well as passing on that tremendous backend! His Dam was 10 years old when she reared him - showing the longevity of this line.

Sire of our Royal Highland Breed Champion, Female Champion and Reserve National Show Champion 2025 at Three Counties and 1st prize untrimmed ram lamb at Balmoral and the NI National Show.

Having been Reserve Champion at the National Show three times previously it was fourth time lucky at the National Show at Three Counties, where our Shearling ram took the honours winning National Show Breed Champion! It was also fitting that he was a Grandson of our very first National Show Female and Reserve Champion from 2017. We had further successes winning 2 firsts and 5 seconds to end a very emotional day. It was also great to see such a strong Shearling ram class with the top three all having Treworthal Breeding. Well done to all exhibitors and thanks for all the kind comments from fellow breeders and competitors. Thanks also to our judge for the day, Roy McFarlane.

A very good show at Royal Cornwall despite the weather - it was cold wet and windy - with over 100 entries Hampshires really lead the way in the sheep lines.

Sired by the great Treworthal Firestorm - sire of the Breed record price ewe lamb 2500gns who was also National Show Champion ewe lamb. He also sired our 2800gns shearling ewe show also broke the breed record.

Firestorm also sired our Breed Champion shearling ewe at Bath and West 2026 who also won 1st Prize at Royal Conwall, Female Champion and Reserve Breed Champion. He also sired our interbreed Champion ram lamb at Devon County and Royal Cornwall 2025 where he was also Breed Champion.

A ram not to be missed who will be a great addition to any flock.

A very good Bath and West show - with 119 Hampshires catalogued it was a great show from all exhibitors. Thanks to our judge Lucy Heywood and well done to all exhibitors for a great show.
