Egg orders now live!

I'm venturing off the farm again this week - to Veryan - to bring our farm fresh eggs from pastured hens to the local community.

Order online (link to shop below) or just turn up in person at the time.

Collection in Veryan, Truro (car park behind Parish Hall) on Wednesday 21st October 2026 between 14:30 - 15:00.

Cash on collection only currently please.

Trialling an egg order system for direct customers on selected collection location & times off of the farm!

My first order for collection off of the farm will be at Veryan (in the Veryan Parish Hall car park) on Friday 16th October 2026 between 14:30 - 15:00!

Half dozen boxes of Fresh Eggs available for £2.00 each. Cash on collection only on this occasion please.

🐔 🌱An egg-citing weekend on the farm 🐔 🌱

Our newest hens to the pastured poultry enterprise, collectively known as Flock 2, were moved out into the field to forage to their hearts content. They join their neighbours, the girls in Flock 1, with both flocks moving at least weekly onto fresh pasture.

With both flocks now laying eggs, we have more egg boxes available for sale daily than ever!

Egg boxes are put out daily into the produce shed at the Crugsillick Farm (TR2 5LJ) gate or you can contact Grace Palmer for orders, large or small, regular or one-offs. These can be put aside for collection or it might be possible to drop off if you are in an area we regularly frequent.

Feedback on the eggs has been wonderful - noting regular double yolkers, the freshness and the orange yolk. Credit due entirely to the characterful hens.

➡ Half dozen eggs / £2.00 box
➡ Half dozen pullet (smaller) eggs / £1.00 box

* Pullet eggs are the initial eggs a hen lays as she first starts laying eggs. Over time these gradually increase in size until they become the size you would normally expect in a standard box.

One of our girls from Flock one is working very hard at the moment - a monster of an egg laid, weighing in at 104g!

Will you find it in your next egg box? Will it be a double yolker? 🥚 🍳

Our newer girls in Flock 2 have started laying beautifully formed smaller eggs, known as pullet eggs. These are for sale for £1.00 per box whilst in stock. Some have even started laying normal size eggs.

📍You should hopefully find the Sow What Produce Shed stocked more regularly with egg boxes now as Flock 2 come into full lay in the coming weeks.

Sow What now has its very own website!

I’ve built this myself so it’s a bit crude and basic but it gives an idea of who we are and what we offer.

Constructive feedback very welcome!

Not currently possible to order or pay for produce online on the Sow What website - but there is a button on the website ‘Sow What shop’ which links you to a regular ordering platform.

(Just got to get that updated & active for future orders now!)

Best bet is to pop to the produce shed or contact me on my mobile for any orders.
