Its that time of year again!
Every year for the last 7 years we rescue some ex commercial hens. At 18 months their egg laying slows down so they are not beneficial for the farms to keep so some of the responsible farmers rehome the hens to make space for younger hens. These hens are in brilliant condition and have clearly been well looked after and will now live out the rest of their days here with us. Happy retirement ladies ❤️
