Friday 26th June - Taste the Southwest

Discover the still wines of England’s Southwest, from Devon’s rolling vineyards to Cornwall’s coastal wineries. Guided by Elly, you’ll explore key grape varieties and regional styles, learn how climate and terroir shape the wines, and pick up simple tips for tasting, as well as where to enjoy local favourites.

Saturday 27th June - Southwest Fizz and Future Classics

Spend the evening discovering the UK’s most exciting sparkling wines, from Southwest producers to emerging classics from across England. Guided by Elly, you’ll taste elegant traditional-method fizz and modern new styles, learn what to look for when choosing a bottle, and leave with a few future favourites for your next celebration.

Situated in the heart of the village deep in Devon’s South Hams, and owned by a Roz, a born-and-bred Devon maid, Stoke Gabriel Stores has something to offer villagers and visitors alike.

Whether you’re shopping for basic groceries or bespoke hampers, you’ll find a treasure trove of delights crammed into this lovely shop.

Stoke Gabriel is blessed to be close to a wealth of fantastic suppliers such as Hunts Cider, Sandridge Barton Wines, Halletts The Bakers, Bays Brewery and Sharpham Cheese.

Roz and her team offer a Veg Box and grocery delivery service to the village and surrounding area, including the many campsites and AirBnBs. They’re also the home of Stoke Gabriel Post Office - they really do have everything under one roof!
