As we head towards harvest, we are hopeful that donations will once again pick up, however we are currently running low on a number of items which go into most of our food parcels on a daily basis.

If you are able to donate just one item to us, it could make a huge difference to a family or individual in need. You can drop items off to us directly or at one of our donation points:

It's Wednesday afternoon which means it's time for this week's tour around the Community Store ahead of tomorrow afternoon's session.

The road works are still in place at the entrance to Queensway from Shaldon Road so please follow the diversion signs if travelling by car.

It's only £5 to shop with us and you should get at least 3x the value in food and other items. Please bring your own bags with you.

In the summer, we often see donations drop as people have holidays or the kids are at home, so everyone's food shopping bill is that little bit higher (we know they eat you out of house and home!).

But right now, we're still being used as much as we were through the rest of the year; our need to operate has not reduced.

If everybody who reads this post donated just one item, it could make a huge impact to a small, independent food bank like ours.

Either drop an item into us (Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm) or drop it off at one of our collection points:

We're launching a new thing!

Every Friday we're going to celebrate the individuals, businesses and other organisations who donate to us each week.

The Teign Community Store is open tomorrow offering you a great opportunity to pay £5 and walk away with at least 3x the value in food, drink and other items.

Our manager, Joe, gives you the low down this week, including important access information due to the closure of the junction onto Queensway from Shaldon Road.

We can accept cash and card payments (cash is preferred). Please bring your own bags if you can.

EDIT 11:30 - We just have the middle unit left now (the two end ones are gone).

We have three plastic storage units in the Foodbank which we no longer have use of, but are still perfectly usable. There is some damage to the middle one, but it works fine and they're perfect for a garage/shed storage solution.
