"COCKIES CHOCKIES "
STORY.
When my dad Colin Brookes ( fondly known as Cockie to his family!) passed,I decided over the following twelve months to raise funds for a charity close to my heart.....dad suffered from Alzheimer's.
This has become known as
"COCKIES CHOCKIES" !
I began by making chocolate spoons, and has quickly increased to other items... Mothers Day , Father's Day, Easter, Christmas sweets and treats!
Your kindness and support has blown me away and as promised after my recent Christmas fayres I am delighted to tell you that I have raised the amazing total of
£1600!!
My heartfelt thanks to everyone who ordered and purchased chocolates and sweet items from me........this amount was forwarded to Alzheimer's Scotland, who will continue to do their great work helping research into this disease.
It touches so many of us, not only affecting a loved one, it also affects the entire family in one way or another.
I have already had requests for this year so hopefully I can continue raising more!
Should you fancy a chocolate treat for birthday parties or something a little different for baby shower...please contact me. You may have ideas of your own.!
