Fjord Bakery, founded in 2020 in Ballyhalbert on the Ards peninsula, is a Nordic-Irish inspired bakery.

We’re passionate about using fresh, local ingredients and creating simple, delicious treats that reflect both the Irish and Nordic influences.

Doughnut box is open now🩷🍩 its such a beautiful day down in Ballyhalbert. Perfect weather for sitting on the harbour and eating doughnuts!

A big thanks to Lydia, who cycled up to the bakery at 6am to help decorate and package. She is back to school tomorrow, and I'm going to miss her, the best niece in the whole wide 🌍

❤️🥳🎈Fjord bakery box birthday ❤️🥳🎈

Well, it was just wonderful until it stated bucketing down, but oh well...not much we could about that!

A whole year of the box, I still can not get over how much support I have been shown 🥹 Vanessa, my lovely bakery helper who has been the best at keeping me on track, recently made me a spread sheet with every single item I've made for the bakery....73 different variations of cakes, bakes, meatballs, savoury pies, soups etc have gone into the box in the last year!!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who went along with every idea that I've had, who show up at every opening, and are always excited to see what is next. Honestly, it means so much, and I'am so incredibly grateful to be able to keep this all going❤️

A big thanks you to Ingrid, Andrew and Bea for bringing Luxury Squishes & S’mores Kits to Ballyhalbert again. Vanessa and Lydia, for all your help in the bakery.
