The AGA is on and Helena will be cooking again this weekend - Friday, Saturday and Sunday dinners, and Sunday lunch! Given the heightened lock-down, we've decided to include FREE delivery within North Newton.
As before, delicious, fresh home-cooked meals in Anglo-Filipino style, with Helena's unique twist that all enjoy!
MENU -
FRIDAY:
Carrot, Celery & Potato Soup
Chicken Afritada (Filipino chicken in tomato sauce, with
carrot, potato, pepper and peas)
Maja Blanca con Mais (Filipino coconut pudding, with
sweetcorn, milk and coconut milk)
SATURDAY:
Cream of Carrot Soup
Pork Menudo (Classic Filipino pork stew, with tomatoes,
potato, carrots, bell peppers and raisins)
Raspberry Cheesecake
SUNDAY:
Cream of Fresh Mushrooms Soup
Beef Kaldereta (Filipino beef stew with potato, carrots,
olives, bell pepper, cheese and tomato sauce)
Cream Cheese Flan (soft cheese, eggs, evaporated and
condensed milk)
Prices are £12 per person for the three-course meal - discounts for families (please ask). Payment ideally by Paypal or bank transfer. Orders by midday if possible please, for evening meals, and by Saturday night for Sunday lunch. Thanks - we look forward to serving you!

MOTHER'S DAY Menu (lunchtime & dinnertime)
Starter: Creamy Celery Soup
Main: Beef & Mushroom Creamy Stew with rice or mashed potato
Dessert: Fruit Cocktail Cheesecake
All freshly cooked to order on the AGA using fresh ingredients in our 450-year old farmhouse kitchen: nothing re-heated! Lunch available between 1pm and 2pm, dinner between 7pm and 9pm. If you have any allergies or food intolerance please check with us before ordering.
Three-course meals at £12 per person will be supplied in sealed containers, piping hot and ready to eat. Collection from Steps Farm, Brook Street TA7 0BL (if walking, come to front door, if driving you need to go around the back – driveway beside Gable End). Delivery £2 extra.
