Come and find us as we’ll be there with our beef and hogget 😋

We’ll have some of your everyday autumn essentials, such as mince, dice and shin. But also a weekend steak treat and your Sunday roasting joint.

See you all tomorrow at the market 😁

We still have space for more market stalls at the end of Summer Market and Charity Dog Show on 5th September 12-5pm at North Tawton Rugby Club EX20

We would love a cake and sweet treats stall and any doggy related stalls.

☔️ Never thought we would be so pleased to see the sky this colour! ☔️

But perhaps not this heavy 😬!! 💧

Hopefully we get some grass soon for the cows 🍀🌱. Especially as we spent time aerating the soil before the rain arrived

That’s all our cattle and sheep now Bluetongue vaccinated 😅. Or at least the first dose for the cattle. Just hope it takes effect fast and not actually two weeks 🐂🐑

With bluetongue and no grass it’s a challenging year!!

Not the start to the day anyone wants … first the ponies were in the neighbours garden 🙈!!

🐂 Then if that wasn’t bad enough I find the yearling bulls had opened their gate and escaped!! 🐂

They had broken the gate to get in with the cows, calves and senior bull! 🐂

And then they decided to get into where the silage bales are stored and rub against them. So now several have holes in 😩!

Thankfully all back where they should be. And the naughty boys are having a late breakfast.

Hopefully the day improves 🤞
