Here the cows and sheep have loads of shade from the trees 🌳 and water to drink

The dog, and it transpires the calves, are enjoying standing in the water troughs!!!!

The young farmer has adapted (without permission 😠) my fertiliser brewing IBC into a hot tub / pool! To be fair I’m kind of jealous 😂 (but don’t tell him that 🤫)

If you’re not too sure what hogget it is … it’s older lamb so full of flavour and less fatty. And also a lot bigger. It’s a low slow cook. If you haven’t tried it then give it a go 😋

💕 it’s a heifer!!! 🥳

Finally Acorn Hazel has produced a heifer and she’s a cracker! 🔥

Being South Devons all of our cows have tremendous quality and volume of milk. But Hazel is one of our best cows for milkiness. All of her calves have the best growth rates each years. So we’re thrilled to finally have a heifer to keep the line going 😊
