Summer is finally here at Croft 2a. We have got the Guinea pigs out into their summer runs and onto some grass at last.

Well thank you to everyone that showed an interest in our cattle. They are all sold and off on a long journey up to Shetland. We have sold our stock bull lyndthorpe Erik and 2 home bred cows with calves at foot and a young stock bull.

Due to us reducing our pedigree Shetland Cattle herd we have the following cattle for sale

Shetland cow with calf at foot.
Jasmine is a pure bred Shetland cow DOB 13/3/21 with a pure bred Shetland heifer calf at foot DOB 21/1/26. Both are black with white bellies and feet. £900

Shetland cow with calf at foot.
Lily is a pure bred Shetland cow DOB 06/03/23 with a pure bred Shetland bull calf at foot DOB 31/12/25.
Both are black with white bellies and feet. £900

All can be registered with the Shetland cattle
breed Society at buyers expense.

We have 5 female large black x Gloucester old spot pigs for sale.

1x 3 year old sow, she has had 3 litters averaging 11 piglets per litter and is ready to go back to a boar. £120

1x 1 year old gilt, never run with a boar so she is ready to go to a boar. £100

3x 5 month old gilts either good for breeding stock or fattening for pork. £80 each

Proven large black x Gloucester old spot boar for sale or hire. We have our current 2 year old boar available for either hire or sale as we can't use him again as we have kept some of his daughters back for breeding. He has produced good size litters averaging 10 piglets a litter, he is well behaved, easy to load on a trailer and electric fence trained. Looking for £100 Ono. Pic is of one of his litters
