Hambleton FoodShare is a community partnership which provides emergency food parcels for people who are struggling to feed themselves and their families. The aim of this scheme is to provide a three-day emergency food parcel to people in temporary financial crisis who otherwise would have to go hungry due to their various circumstances. This could be because they have lost their job, are experienc
ing financial problems, illness, relationship breakdown, debt, benefit changes or any other financial shock. The volunteer-led FoodShare is here to help so please ring 07514 244158 for advice - Please ring between 10:30am - 3:30pm Mon-Fri to organise a parcel.. To receive assistance we ask that customers demonstrate their need primarily by being referred through an agency but you can make a self referral in the first instance and our friendly team of volunteers are here to help. Referral Agencies include but are not limited to Citizens Advice, Broadacres Housing Association, Hambleton District Council, Probation Service, Horizons and North Yorkshire County Council, Health Visitors, NHS services etc.
