Jura 12 ans Sherry Cask : l’Écosse avec une touche espagnole 🥃

Tout commence sur l’île de Jura, au large de la côte ouest écossaise. Fondée en 1810 puis reconstruite en 1963, la distillerie perpétue un savoir-faire singulier, avec ses alambics parmi les plus hauts d’Écosse, qui contribuent au profil fruité et équilibré de ses single malts.

Le Jura 12 ans Sherry Cask, lui, doit sa richesse à deux types de fûts : d’abord vieilli en fûts de chêne américain ayant contenu du bourbon, il est ensuite affiné en fûts de Sherry Oloroso sélectionnés en Espagne. À la clé ? Des notes de vanille, de fruits mûrs et d’épices, pour un profil riche et gourmand.

Le V and B St-Flour est ouvert 👋

C’est le grand jour pour Sabrina ! Après 21 ans dans le commerce local, elle se lance dans une nouvelle aventure dans sa ville natale et vous ouvre les portes de son V and B.

Objectif ? Faire de ce lieu un vrai spot de vie où les générations se mélangent et où les rencontres ne manquent pas ! Dégustations, soirées à thème, concerts et retransmissions sportives… Le programme s’annonce animé toute l’année. De quoi vous donner plein de bonnes raisons de venir découvrir ce nouveau spot !

Menthe-Pastille : 140 ans de fraîcheur au compteur 🌿⁠

Tout commence à Angers, en 1885. Émile Giffard, alors pharmacien, imagine une liqueur à base de menthe poivrée. Baptisée Menthe-Pastille, elle rencontre un succès immédiat, au point de le pousser à transformer son officine en distillerie !

Son secret ? La menthe Mitcham sélectionnée pour son intensité aromatique et sa fraîcheur nette, reconnaissable entre mille.

Près de 140 ans plus t**d, elle n’a rien perdu de son caractère. Une belle occasion de redécouvrir cette liqueur incontournable signée Giffard !

Dog lovers unite! This Sunday we’re going to be joined by Guide Dogs who will be bringing some volunteers, and some gorgeous guide dogs to V and B Northampton. Come and have a chat, find out about the work they do and have a cuddle with some beautiful dogs - sounds like a very wholesome Sunday trip out! They’ll be with us from 2-5, see you there! 🐾

Join us to taste new things, learn a thing or two, and meet new people. It’s not only drinks we’re exploring, you can learn to model clay pumpkins with Karen from Karen Boyce-Dawson , do some Yoga (followed by some w**e of course) with Rin Green or even enjoy making your own pasta in our first ever pasta and w**e masterclass, hosted by Carmela Sophia Sereno 🇮🇹 Carmela's Kitchen . Tickets are available in store or on eventbrite - and if you book onto any of our masterclasses, you can grab tickets to our spirits fair on the 10th of October for only £15 (via the shop only, not eventbrite)

A beautiful time at French Club last night! If you want to brush up on the lingo and give it a go, feel free to join us on the second Tuesday of the month. All levels are welcome! Meeting people with shared interests, having a nice drink and a catch up en Français- pretty perfect evening if you ask us. The next French club is on the 8th of September - see you there? And if you can’t wait until then, why not come and hablar español at our Spanish club on the last Tuesday of the month - same idea, only a much more humbling experience for Hat and Flo.
