THANKYOU TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS WHO WE HAD THE PRIVILEGE TO SUPPLY LAST YEAR.

The Harvest this autumn was down about 80% due to the frost in may. We picked the first crop (which was not affected by the frost) which was 523kg we then had a second pick three weeks later which was 400kg. This compares with our usual crop of over five tons. The Quality was excellent so we will produce about 900 bottles of White and Rose' for the 2020 year.
Fortunately our red grapes were not affected so we have about
1500 bottles of Red.
The website is working well with lots of orders so we are pleased with the results so far.

We have had the first jab on Jan 13th and now await the second)

LET US HOPE THAT THE FOOD SHOWS ARE RECOMMENCED THIS YEAR SO THAT WE CAN ALL ENJOY THE QUALITY OF SOME FABULOUS LOCAL PRODUCE.
The annual wine competition is paused so we are awaiting the end of lockdown to see the results. Stay Safe and healthy

About half of uk vineyards have suffered frost damage this year Fleur Fields have lost initial buds 100% damage so looks like a very small crop this year. We are fortunate to maintain sufficient stock to overcome such a catastrophe. We believe that our stock improves with age and we are looking forward to last years vintage Do ring if you need any wine as we have a delivery system in place. A glass of wine makes the day for me. We are open to deliver just ring 01604 880197 we observe government recommendations when delivering I dislocated my ankle and fractured my leg in two places last Thursday so Flora will be the main worker this year. Bill Hulme
