☀️Keeping Cool While Baking Through the Heatwave 🍞
With temperatures soaring outside, it’s no surprise that conditions inside a busy bakery can feel even warmer. At Roberts Bakery, the wellbeing of our team is always a top priority, especially during periods of hot weather.
To help keep everyone comfortable, safe, and hydrated while continuing to bake the products our customers love, we’ve introduced a number of additional measures across our bakeries:
🍦 Providing complimentary ice lollies to help our teams cool down throughout the day
💧 Supplying plenty of cold drinks and encouraging regular hydration
⏰ Adjusting break schedules to allow colleagues more opportunities to rest, cool down, and rehydrate during the hottest parts of the day
🌡️ Continuously monitoring working conditions and supporting our teams wherever possible
