Dear Valued Customers,
In response to the recent article on regarding the cleanliness of our kitchen, we wish to inform you that we have appealed the council's decision and are currently awaiting a reinspection. It is worth noting that the hygiene inspector is presently on vacation, and we have been advised to anticipate the reinspection next week.
While we understand the concerns raised, we assure you that we maintain high standards in our kitchen. We source our products from reputable vendors in London, ensuring quality and freshness. Some items are frozen immediately upon delivery, and while labeling oversights occurred, we addressed this with the inspector during the evaluation but this was disregarded and we understand it should have been labelled. We do not sell out of date food. I’m sure all businesses & households freeze certain food items.
Despite these challenges, we want to emphasize that our kitchen is consistently one of the cleanest in the city. We welcome our customers to view our kitchen from the front of our shop, reinforcing our commitment to transparency.
