About us
Locally produced beef and lamb, from the farm in Barford. Our beef is home reared, calving in the spring and spending the summer grazing marshland. Finally coming in to be fed on our own silage (pickled grass!) and our home grown grain that is milled to our specifications. Our beef is Dry Aged for 3/4 weeks to give maximum flavour and eating quality. Our lamb is produced from our small flock of breeding ewes, lambing outside in the spring. The lambs are then finished mainly on grass grazing on local meadows. Our meat is butchered at Clarkes Farmers Butchery,, Halesworth, and sold from Bungalow Farm, Barford (rated 5* for food safety and hygiene by Norfolk County Council). Our products come fresh and frozen. They are weighed, labelled and cut to various sizes to suit you.
Our Farm shop stocks all manner of goodies; Norfolk cheeses, yogurts and Ice Cream; Bacon and sausages from Hevingham; Chickens and poultry from Weybred; Fresh bread and cakes delivered from the local Bakery in Hingham; Yare Valley Rapeseed Oil;Breckland Orchard Posh Pop; Our own homemade sausage rolls, scotch eggs and cakes; and more; all alongside our own Beef, Lamb and Free Range Eggs.
