We now have Marfona potatoes back in stock from Louth Potatoes near Grimsby, it has been a long wait to once again get a delivery of what has been one of our customers favourite table potatoes and they look stunning again this year! So for all of you that have been asking and patiently waiting they have landed and will be available from tomorrow morning 31st October.

Currently I am unable to buy a decent table potato due to the shortage of this type of potatoes so for the first time in 20 years I have had to close the Barn doors until the new season. I do have various varieties of Chippers but the price is quite high and I think most people want all rounders so rather than dissapoint I have decided to temporarily close.

It is with great sadness we will no longer sell our free range eggs due to daily losses in our honesty box, we have offered these to our loyal customers for many years when we had a flock of our own hens and recently baught them in from a local free range farmer just to keep our local loyal customers in quality eggs at a low price, we make virtually nothing from eggs it's increasingly difficult for my aging father to carry them so due to daily losses of more than the eggs actually cost I have to stop, it is going to be very dissapointing for many of our loyal honest customers, but I can't continue to loose money everyday,
I will monitor the cctv going forward and if the theft and short changing continues I will close the shed and only sell when people are lucky enough to catch me when I'm loading my lorries. 😭

We are aware it is Christmas, and a time for goodwill to all, we would like to thank all our customers for their honesty at our old fashioned farm shop with our honesty box but recently we have been short changed quite considerably and have again had to consider the viability of the service and convenience we offer to the majority of our loyal and lovely customers who have been coming for years.
I would ask the people who have stolen Eggs and potatoes to return with the short and sometimes missing money for the goods they have taken, we know who you are as we have Cctv and can zoom in to great detail.
Please don't make me spoil your Christmas with a visit from Norfolk Constabulary who will follow up even small theft.
