After celebrating Silver medals for our reds, Signature and The Grand, it feels only right to bring Bacchus back into the spotlight. 🥂

We’re delighted to share that our Winbirri Bacchus has also been awarded 90 points and Silver at the 2026 Decanter World Wine Awards.

Bacchus has always been a huge part of the Winbirri story — and the wine that helped put us on the international map back in 2017 — so it is wonderful to see it still standing proudly on the international stage.

What makes this year especially exciting for us is that it isn’t just one wine gaining recognition. Our reds are shining, our Bacchus is still delivering, and the wider Winbirri range is now being recognised by international judges.

A proud moment for Bacchus, a proud moment for English wine, and a very proud moment for Winbirri Vineyard. 🥂

Yesterday we shared the news that one of our Winbirri reds had been awarded 90 points & Silver at the 2026 Decanter World Wine Awards.

Well… it wasn’t alone. 🍷🥈

We’re incredibly proud to share that The Grand has also received a 90 point score & Silver medal at Decanter, meaning not one, but two of our red wines have gained international Silver recognition.

For us, this feels like a really important moment. Winbirri has long been known for Bacchus, and that will always be a huge part of our story, but we have been working hard to show the strength and depth across the whole range.

To see two Norfolk red wines recognised on the international stage is something we are genuinely delighted about.

English red wine continues to grow in quality, confidence and recognition — and we’re very proud that Winbirri reds are part of that journey.

We are absolutely delighted to share that our Winbirri Signature wine has been awarded 90 points & Silver at the 2026 Decanter World Wine Awards. 🍷🥈

English red wine has come such a long way, and to see one of our reds recognised on an international stage like Decanter is something we are incredibly proud of.

Red wine from Norfolk may still surprise a few people, but this medal is another lovely reminder of what is possible when the right site, vintage and winemaking all come together.

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support Winbirri Vineyard and our wines — moments like this mean a great deal to us.

Back by popular demand — our Bacchus Vertical Tasting is returning! 🥂 Friday 24th July

After our first two dates sold out within just 24 hours, we are delighted to be releasing another evening for those who missed out.

Join us for a guided tasting through five consecutive vintages of Winbirri Bacchus — 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 — and discover how each year shaped the wine in the vineyard, the winery, and the bottle.

This is a rare chance to taste a little piece of Winbirri history side by side, exploring the differences between each vintage and seeing how our award-winning Bacchus develops over time.

A relaxed, fascinating evening for Bacchus lovers, English wine fans, and anyone who loves discovering the story behind the glass.

The vines are absolutely glowing in the sunshine, and after all the hard work through winter and spring, it’s always a special moment seeing the vineyard looking this full of life.
Our Bacchus rows are already shaping up beautifully — and with the 2025 vintage being talked about as one of the most exciting UK grape-growing years yet, we’re feeling very hopeful for what’s ahead.

Boards & Bottles this Sunday 🍷

This Sunday we’ll be running our Boards & Bottles offer in the Wine Garden.

Enjoy a double cheese & charcuterie board with a bottle of Winbirri wine for £65.

Please note, Boards & Bottles must be pre-booked only, so we can prepare the boards in advance and have your table ready.

But if you’d just like to pop in for a glass, a bottle, or a relaxed afternoon in the Wine Garden, walk-ins are very welcome.

Wine Garden open Sunday — no need to book for general visits.

Book your Boards & Bottles, or simply come along and enjoy a glass in the vineyard.
