The Pie Guys are taking over the kitchen next Thursday for our regular blues night with Steve Morphew

Expect delicious, hearty, homemade pies with classic fillings and a few curve balls (personal fave is the lamb curry 😋) veggie & vegan options available

Dave Thomas will be fronting the incredible Fine City Blues band featuring a plethora of talented musicians including the showstoppingly brilliant James Goodwin on keys.

Music starts at 8PM and will be inside since it's getting a little chilly!

Whether you're a deep blues head or just a fan of amazing live music, do not miss it! We love these nights and hope you'll be a part of it - as always free entry. Just come get a pint and a pie!

Friends of the pub and legends of the local bluegrass/Americana/folk scene for over a decade will performing for us on Sat 31st

Some of our new b**rs this week include:

Farm Yard Brew Co – We All Smile We All Sing – 4.3% – A double dry hopped pale ale layering tropical pineapple, mango and passion fruit with bright citrus flavours.

Otherworld – Furies – 4.2% – A lively orange sour combining juicy citrus flavours with a refreshing tart finish.

Mash Gang – Lesser Evil – 0.5% – A rich chocolate and cherry stout with cacao, vanilla, creamy oats and subtle roasted coffee notes, delivering proper dessert flavours with very little alcohol.

Yonder Brewing & Blending – Salted Caramel Brownie – 5.0% – A gloriously indulgent ice cream stout inspired by salted caramel brownies and a particularly unrestricted visit to the ice cream parlour.

Timmermans – Strawberry Thyme – 3.4% – A traditional barrel aged Belgian lambic made with natural strawberry and delicately seasoned with thyme for a fruity, gently herbal finish.

Flensburger – Pilsener – 4.8% – A crisp and hop forward northern German pilsner with a firm bitterness, savoury malt character and the brewery’s distinctive swing top bottle.

Jever – Jever Fun – 0.3% – A refreshing low alcohol German b**r retaining Jever’s characteristically dry and bitter Frisian flavour, with very little sugar.

Schlenkerla – Rauchbier Weizen – 5.2% – An unfiltered and bottle conditioned Bamberg wheat b**r combining gentle smoke with the banana, clove and vanilla notes produced by traditional wheat b**r yeast.

Otherworld has become one of the most popular breweries at Articans, so we’re delighted to welcome its latest arrival, Ornis.

This smooth and full-bodied 4% hazy pale is dry hopped with Motueka, bringing flavours of peach, orange and lemongrass, finished with a refreshing lift of fresh lime zest.

Bright, juicy and eminently drinkable, it offers plenty of flavour and is especially good to enjoy whilst sitting inside or outside Articans!
