PARK REVAMP
Trialed and test this weekend ✔️
Cotgrave Country Park has had a small rejuvenation, little things can go a long way. We are very grateful. Thanks NCC and Friends of Cotgrave Country Park for making it happen.
What was lacking in toilet facilities, we can now provide two composting loos for you to use. They’re pretty nice as far as long drops can go, so hope it’s incentive to use them well. Being conscious about how we use them is important to keep in mind, more great ways to be more self sufficient that we can all take park in. There will be a baby changing facility in one of them, with sanitary bins too.
Lots of new picnic benches are added to the coffee van spot, available to use at all times when visiting the park.
A volunteers hub for task days, community days and soon available to use/hire yourself alongside days in the country park.
We really hope these additions make our great country park even more appealing to visit. I know the lack of, have always put a few off coming outdoors. Stay, chat and have a second coffee, bring your kids, bring your grandparents, go for a walk and stop for another. Lots more opportunity to visit and stay longer now.
