Next up in our Meet the team series -

🧑‍🍳 Warren Jones — Executive Chef, or as we know him round here: Cheffington, Wazza, the OG.

35+ years in kitchens across the country, from big hotel banquets to fine dining rooms to country houses — the lot. He’s worked with the likes of Marriott and Hilton, picked up a fair few rosettes along the way, and has set up entire kitchens from scratch more times than he can count.

Fun fact: that hat does not come off. Snow, rain, storm, 40°C heat — doesn’t matter, Warren’s in full whites regardless. Still just as happy elbow-deep in a farm-to-table menu as he is running a packed service.

🔪 Meet the team: Tyler Smith 🔪 cheftysmith

This is Tyler — our main man in the kitchen at Citreus. Just over 2 years ago he was thrown in when we were left short-staffed, and he took to it like a duck to water. Since then he hasn’t looked back.

Tyler finished his apprenticeship with distinction and Student of the Year, and now pretty much runs our day-to-day kitchen. Homemade bread, a genuine skill for pastry, and an eye for perfection on the plate — his progression over the last two years has smashed every expectation we had.

He even flew out to work the Olympics in France in 2024 at the drop of a hat, handling elite sports catering under serious pressure and keeping our fast-paced events kitchen running like clockwork.

Give him a follow and watch this space — big things coming from this young man. We’re lucky to have him. 🙌

Torrential rain wasn’t stopping this lot! ☔➡️☀️ Huge thanks to everyone who braved the weather for our Family & Fun Day — homemade Greek souvlaki wraps with warm pita and fresh salads, homemade poke bowls, face painting, mini golf and the bouncy castle kept smiles going all day long. Great food, great families, brilliant day. 💛
