We were particularly impressed by the depth of experience behind the business. More than 45 years in the fish trade is reflected in the knowledge, buying, preparation and personal service that underpin T Buck Seafoods, while your recognition as Best Mobile Fishmonger – England provides further testament to the standards you have established. The traditional mobile model was another real strength. Combining a farm shop base, mobile round and five regular community trading pitches allows you to take quality seafood and skilled fish preparation directly into the communities you serve, while maintaining the personal relationships that have always been such an important part of a great fishmonger.

The judges also particularly liked seeing Ollie developing within the business. Terry’s considerable experience being passed directly to the next generation through practical, day-to-day mentoring represents exactly the kind of continuity of skills and knowledge the National Federation of Fishmongers wants to recognise and celebrate.

The judging panel felt T Buck Seafoods represents traditional mobile fishmongering at its very best – combining more than 45 years of experience, consistently high standards and trusted personal service, while actively passing those skills and traditions to the next generation.

Our team have been on a secret mission all week to pull together a selection of carefully thought out gifts which we surprised her with this morning! 🎁

Our Patisserie Chef Jan made this beautiful Apple, Cinnamon & Pecan Cake (Becca’s Favourite!) for all the team to share and enjoy - a new flavour to bring to the cake cabinet perhaps? 🎂

They did it! 💜 Last night some of our staff team completed the Nottingham Shine Night 10K Walk to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK🚶‍♀️🎆 🕺🏼

As a team, we walked and motivated each other through the evening to raise money towards the incredible work Cancer Research UK does to help fund life-saving research, improve treatments, and bring hope to people affected by cancer.

Sadly, like so many others, our lives have been touched by cancer in one way or another. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a real difference and brings us one step closer to a future where more people survive cancer.

So far we have raised an incredible £2,254 💰 Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and supported our team! If anyone would still like to donate, there’s still time — every little bit helps! 💜👇

What a great evening we had last night for our staff team social 🍻

They battled through 6 rounds of quiz questions varying from very local knowledge, to global geography 🤓⁉️🧠

Lots of competitive spirits meant we had a great laugh, but ultimately there was one team who came out on top! 🏆💪🏼

🌟 Competition Time 🌟 Help the Farmer find his Tractor Key 🔑 to win a prize 🎁 and help us fundraise for Cancer Research UK 💜

We currently have a farm themed game live in our Café as part of our fundraising towards Cancer Research UK 💰

Here’s the Game:
The farmer has lost his tractor key somewhere on the farm. 🧑‍🌾 To help try and find it we have split the farm in to 400 little squares, each square is £1 each, customers can reserve the square where they think they key is located. When all the squares are full we will find out the location of the lost key 🔑

The owner of the winning square where the key is located will receive the prize of homemade Afternoon Tea in The Old Parlour Café for 4 people 🎁

Customers can reserve multiple squares if they wish more than £1 if they wish 💰

All donations raised from this game will be going towards the Cancer Research UK pot as part of the fundraising for the Spring Lane Staff team who are taking part in the Nottingham Shine Night Walk 🚶‍♀️
