Piscatorial Briefing
Good evening, Due in no small part to the unexpected and sudden incapacitation of our Prime Minister, Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson (BJ), and his health secretary, we have taken it upon ourselves to step into the breach, and offer sound advice, calm and reassurance during this ongoing difficult period. Our briefing will consist of information regarding the forthcoming arrivals at Paolo's Seafood, as well as the short term picture on availability, opening (or perhaps not) hours etc
We will be open tomorrow from 9:30 AM to 1:00PM. We will have our usual comprehensive selection of respectable fresh fish, responsibly sourced from UK waters and further afield.
We will then reopen on Tuesday 09:30 to 5:30, but the picture is less clear. This week we have had a lot of fish from Scotland, but next week the Scottish transport companies are threatening not to operate. If they do decide to work instead of hanging around crossdressing or whatever ( if you are reading this John from Peterhead Transport, I would like my blue dress back!), then we may have a better selection. At the moment, all we are expecting is tuna; we expect more fish to be announced on Monday when we will issue a further briefing.
In the meantime, we invite you to visit us tomorrow, buy some nice fish and be kind to the people serving you. We are sensitive in the extreme, and flourish in the warmth of human quasi contact as it must currently be.
We wish Messrs Johnson and Hancock, as well as all other people who have tested positive a speedy recovery, and a pleasant evening to the population in general, but especially to those of you who spend money with us.
