PART-TIME HGV DRIVER – NG12
We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our team based in the
NG12 area of Nottinghamshire.
The role will primarily involve:
Carting straw during the busy straw season
Moving straw with 50 foot trailer
Walking floor work
Local and UK-wide work as required
Occasional overnight stays will be required
Part-time position initially, with the potential to become full-time for the right person
The ideal candidate will:
● Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence
● Have relevant HGV driving experience
● Be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
● Have a good attitude and reliable approach to work
● Be able to work independently and manage their time effectively
● Be comfortable with occasional overnight stays
● Have experience with walking floor trailers and/or agricultural haulage
● Take pride in looking after vehicles and equipment
● Have a good understanding of drivers' hours and road safety requirements
● Must be comfortable using loaders/farm machinery to load yourself.
