We didn't bring home the trophy, but history was still made! 🏆🥓

The 2026 Meat Management Meat Industry Awards results are in. We didn't take top spot for Best Charcuterie Product, but making the national final shortlist is a huge milestone.

•First time entering the national Meat Management Awards.
•First time ever Biltong has been shortlisted in this category.
•National recognition for our small-batch, handcrafted artisan setup.

Tonight’s the Big Night! 🏆

Today is the awards ceremony for , and our original spiced biltong is in the running for Best Charcuterie Product 2026! 🥩✨
Whilst we were unable to fund the tickets to attend the black-tie event tonight, we’ve decided to celebrate in our own way—starting at for a few drinks, then over to for some amazing food! 🥂🍔

Fingers crossed for tonight—we are so humbled and proud to be short-listed alongside top national producers! 🤞✨

Looking back at June 2024—

Setting up our very first table with Ricky at —it’s surreal to see where we stand today.

Thanks to who has supported us from day DOT. IIt has been a hell of a journey, and we couldn’t have made it a single step without the steady support of our friends, family, customers, and market organisers.

Building an artisan business from scratch is relentless. Being self-taught smoked and cured specialists—from our award-winning smoked salmon and smoked mackerel, to hand-crafting our own mortadella, lomo, bresaola, duck breast, and perfecting our Original Spiced Biltong—takes endless patience, discipline, and hard-earned lessons every single day.

To have our Original Spiced Biltong named a finalist in two major awards (with results coming in September and October) is a genuine honour. We stay humble, we strive to be good people, and we will never compromise on the quality of what we put in front of you.

Our snack boxes showcase our products 110% and cannot wait to showcase more in the future!

We love food, we love this industry, and we are so proud of what we’re building. We’re here for the long haul.
