Skills required:
● Knowledge of food, food hygiene (including hazard analysis and critical control points) and food preparation
● To be able to work efficiently and tidily
● An ability to prepare and display food to a high standard
● Excellent customer service skills and good communicator
● The ability to think quickly, work under pressure and stay calm.
● To be reliable and flexible around working hours
● Good time keeper
● To be able to work on own initiative
● Excellent time management and the ability to priorities workload
● Highly motivated
● To be able to take and follow instruction
Qualifications Required
Level 2 Food Safety in Catering (If you do not have this qualification, we are happy for it to be obtained once working within the role, the cost is £24, which can be deducted from the first month’s salary)
Main Job responsibilities
● Working in the kitchen preparing food
● Working on the counter serving customers and preparing takeaway
● Stacking shelves in the shop area, stock rotation
● To observe and work strictly to all hygiene and health and safety regulations, filling in any relevant paperwork required.
● Handling customer enquiries and passing any complaints on to the Supervisor/Manager
● Greeting and advising customers
● To clean to a high standard the kitchen area, counter and café area following strict guidelines
Job Type: Full-time
Required experience:
Food Preparation: 1 year
Job Location: Nottingham
Salary: £6.7-7.9 per hour, negotiable with experienced and desired candidates.
Working hours: Working from 9.00am to 4.00am hours per week Monday to Sunday to meet the demands of the service, the successful candidate will be energetic, able to work on their own initiative.
Required language: English, desire for multi-languages speaker
