Txoko Notts A league of gentlemen from Nottingham who have as much of a passion for food as they do for the beer that they consume whilst cooking it.

Originating in San Sebastian, Spain, the 'Txoko' or gastronomic societies began around 1870 as a place for men to gather, socialise, eat and drink. They quickly spread out geographically and as time went on focussed more and more on cooking, becoming not only the repositories of age old recipes but the cutting edge of Basque cuisine.
