This role requires a qualified Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team and provide preventative and reactive maintenance.

As a Hygiene Operative for GCL Food Ingredients based in Newthorpe, you’ll be joining an industry leader and performing various duties within our ever-growing production facility.

Working within an exciting and fast paced environment, you will be a key member of our Hygiene Team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality.

The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling and lifting involved.

The typical role of a Hygiene Operative involves working in a small team to complete all required hygiene related tasks. You will work closely with the Hygiene Supervisor and Hygiene Manager to produce a clean, sterilised production area and equipment.

Another successful family fun day here at GCL🎉

Staff wellbeing is important to us, we understand the importance of being able to unwind from the stresses of work that’s why over the weekend we invited all our staff and their families to join us for a day packed with fun activities some of which included a football tournament, face painting, bouncy castles, table tennis and of course let’s not forget about the food 🤤. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side however we were not going to let that stop us!

And just in case you were wondering, Ice cream was still a favourite amongst the team 😊.

Thank you to all the GCL staff for their continuous efforts to support the business.
