The beer crawl is back!

This year we are collaborating with making "Ellis Simmcoe" a 6% West Coast IPA with Simcoe hops.

Named in honour of Ellis Simms, Coventry City's top scorer this season! Thanks to Nextdoor's Tom for the epic name suggestion!

It’s a busy, hot day to be brewing beer!

It’s been a busy solo brew day (Dale today) but massively productive. It’s great to brew one of our most beloved beers for my friend’s wedding in July. Cannot wait for this one.

The day doesn’t just stop at brewing. Our ever growing range of kegs are getting filled ready for the craft brew festivals we are pouring at in June and July (Nottingham and Manchester) As you can see, we are running out of floor space in our small garage brewery. This has been a big undertaking for us which has involved multiple upgrades in kit and a rigorously planned brew schedule. We are really excited to bring these beers to a new audience.

David, even on his day off, is still putting the time in. More keg collections and keg deliveries. It’s all go!

👋 MEET THE BREWER - THE ALE POLE 👋

We were very fortunate to be invited to chat all things beer at last night. Richard and the team were incredibly welcoming to their gem of a spot in Daventry.

A maze of olde worlde nooks and hidden spots, with plush furnishings and soft music, coupled with an excellent line of beer on keg and cask, The Ale Pole is a must visit!

Our talk on all things Dead Weight went down a treat, with lots of interesting questions from the attendees and a tutored tasting of three of our beers.

We will be back very soon (for a social pint!)

🇳🇴 MØRE SUN 🇳🇴

Introducing... Møre Sun 4.9% Kveik Pale!

Kveik is a strain of yeast originating from Norway. It's fast-acting, enabling us to produce beers more quickly at much higher temperatures. It has a distinct flavour, coupled with our signature hop combination, for one of our most unique beers!

Why Møre Sun? Kveik traces its origins to Norway (Kveik meaning yeast). A traditional farmhouse yeast passed down for generations, originating from Sunnmøre. It's hard to pronounce in English, but reversing it to "Møre Sun" fits the time of year!

Time to highlight our latest beer.

Kayak is our latest session pale ale. Coming in at 4.2% it is a perfect easy drinking pale ale whilst still retaining the classic deadweight hoppy flavours.

Lazy Saturdays are made for beers like this one. A rare chilled out weekend at home with a lovely easy drinking beer. Taste testing/quality control is a difficult perk we have to put up with.

Just in time for Easter a selection of new beers. Starting with a re stock of the ever popular Paradise Island our big and bold NEIPA

Next we have Mutiny. Our first ever mountain IPA. A great combination of east and west coast style IPA’s delivering a unique flavour. Fruity and bitter.

Finally with have the newest addition to our session beers, Kayak. Low in percentage, a perfect beer for the Easter break. Light and refreshing.

Here’s a look at our cannular canning system. It’s a great and simple setup that has made our canning operation faster and smoother!

Today I am canning what might be my favourite beer that we make. (I think David agrees) We love all our big juicy NEIPAs and Westies, but our core pilsner Aurora always hits the spot!
Crystal clear, refreshing and far more flavourful than your typical lager. We would continue to brew Aurora even if no one bought it, just so we could drink it!
