A little message regarding a couple of concerns that have been raised today.
I don’t usually post things like this, but it’s come to my attention that we’ve had a few complaints recently regarding the Hare and hounds trailer trailer being closed and Kenzie not always being at work, kenzies a great lad, never really has time off, and if he's not on his trailer, hes on another one.
I just wanted to clear a few things up. In the 10–11 months since the trailer opened, it has only been closed around six or seven times. Unfortunately, quite a few of those closures have happened recently, with staff members being either on holiday or off ill, it is the summer holidays, meaning we've had no choice but to close for a few days.
With three trailers currently running, we have to make difficult decisions sometimes when we're short-staffed. Attleborough has been running for 4 years, Camp Hill for around 2 and a half years, and Hare and Hounds is our newest location, having been there around 9–10 months. Unfortunately, when we are struggling for staff, that is sometimes the trailer we have to close.
Please believe me when I say I never take the decision to close any of our trailers lightly. I know people rely on us being open, and closing is the last thing I ever want to do. But running a business isn't always easy, and occasionally, with illness, holidays and everything else that comes with running three locations, these things can happen. And sometimes, I need a day off too, whether it's to relax or take a day to catch up on errands.
I do apologise to anyone who has been inconvenienced recently, and I completely understand your frustrations. Going forward, I'll do my absolute best to make sure the Hare and Hounds stays open.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support us and understands that we're doing our best ❤️
