Purple Care Supported Living It is a farm, but it’s also a place that provides a caring, healthy and therapeutic environment.

Purple Care Farm gives people with a learning disability the opportunity to learn, re-build and grow through a range of hands-on farming activities.

This lovely new space has been created to provide a calm, comfortable area for everyone to relax, socialise, and enjoy the outdoors. Whether it’s having a chat with friends, taking a quiet moment, or enjoying the sunshine, we hope this area brings happiness and comfort to all who use it 💜

William had a lovely evening exploring the farm tonight — making sure every corner was inspected properly! 😂

From relaxing on the swing like the king of the farm 👑, to checking if the caravan was still standing 🏕️, and then onto the boat for his “captain duties” 🚤⚓… he certainly kept everyone busy!

We’re not entirely sure if he was on a peaceful evening walk or secretly conducting farm security checks 🤣🐑

Safe to say, William enjoyed every minute of his countryside patrol! 💜😊

There’s something truly special about the gentle bond between humans and ponies 🐴💜

Stroking and spending time with ponies can be incredibly therapeutic. Their calm nature can help reduce anxiety, lower stress levels, and bring a real sense of comfort and connection. For many people, especially those with additional needs, autism, anxiety, or emotional challenges, interacting with animals can improve wellbeing, confidence, and communication.

Sometimes the quietest moments — a soft nuzzle, a gentle stroke, or simply standing beside a pony — can have the biggest impact. 🌿✨
