A big Poplars Farm thank you to everybody who came to our Meet the Machines & pizza evenings this weekend.

It was lovely to show you some of our kit & how we use it down on the farm 🚜

Farmer Richard lurves talking anything and everything farming so ask away if there’s anything else you would like to know!

The machines are safely tucked up in the sheds ahead of an early start tomorrow to get some oil seed r**e drilled after all this lovely rain ☺️☔️

Tonight’s Meet the Machines was a big success, thank you to everybody who joined us ☺️🚜, we definitely lucked out on the weather, it stopped raining as soon as we opened the gates 🥰

On the stroke of midnight, with 5 weeks to go….We are off… PUMPKINS 2026 is a go!!!

We kick off 3rd & 4th October and are then open every weekend & selected dates in October 1/2 term(s) right through until Halloween itself 🥰🎃

You can expect all of our usual activities included in your ticket price, alongside some lovely new ones & the return of some old favourites:

🚜 Tractor & trailer ride
🌻 Sunflower & maize wander
🎶 Mini music makers
🏖️Digger sand pit
🚜 Pedal tractor arena
🎳 Pumpkin bowling
🌾 Bale pyramid
👻 Spooky inflatable walk through
🚙 Ample free parking

🎃 PYO pumpkins from our 22 acre pumpkin patch and pay per kilo at the weigh stations

🍺 Hot n cold drinks to purchase from our fully licensed bar

🍔 Delicious grub from our pop up food vendors

We have frozen our ticket prices at £4pp (2’s and under free) whilst also recognising it’s been a tough year for many….

…so we are introducing SAVER TICKETS on selected days, which will slash tickets to 1/2 price (see booking link for details).

The Great British weather is providing you all with a fully immersive experience of farming during our event this Friday & Saturday 😀⛈️☔️

Here’s some tips for those of you joining us:

🎟️ Our gates open at 6pm & you are welcome to arrive ANYTIME after this. Farmer Richard and the machines will be out on the yard all evening, so please don’t rush & have your tickets ready to scan

🚗 1/2 of the yard will be blocked off for the machinery (you can’t miss it 🧐😂) so please drive CAREFULLY through the yard and park in our overflow car park

☔️ the forecast is brighter (& we are thankful for the rain!) but please dress for the weather, remembering we are a working farm

🍕Your ticket price is redeemable off our infamous home made stone baked pizzas, please order at the bar

….and finally, we are fully aware we have ticketed this event to be accessible to all (I mean where else can you have an evening of fun for £1pp 🤷🏻‍♀️), so please:

🍺 Support us by enjoying a few drinks & food in The Cow Shed

🚜 If you can’t attend/don’t fancy the puddles, please just let us know so we can open up your tickets to the hundreds that couldn’t get any
