Mental Health Day 2026💚

We look after our land, livestock and farms - but let’s not forget to look after ourselves🧠

With the pressures of farming growing larger than ever recently, it is important that we take the time to look after ourselves and each other🧑‍🧑‍🧒

Strong farms start with looking after the people behind them🌾🧑‍🌾

Our chatty cafe scheme runs every Friday (10am-12pm). A safe space for conversation and community with no pressure💛

The Chatty Cafe Scheme☕️

Starting tomorrow, we will be opening as a Chatty Cafe between 10am - 12pm!

A safe and friendly environment for all ages to come down and talk to others. No agenda, no pressure🗣️

The first meeting of 'Chatty Cafe' took place at Wharf Farm Shop and Cafe, on Station Road, Shackerstone, on Friday 25th September between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon. The next session will be on Friday 2nd October if you would like to give the scheme a try.

The Chatty Cafe Scheme is a non-profit initiative designed to tackle loneliness and social isolation by encouraging everyday conversations between people.

• Chatter & Natter Tables: Participating venues mark at least one table with a sign letting customers know that sitting there means you are happy to talk to other customers.

• Low-Pressure Connection: It is meant for simple, friendly interactions—whether that is a five-minute chat over a brew or a longer conversation.

You are not obliged to buy food or drink.
